Japanese denim company Zoo Jeans have taken authenticity in fashion to a new level. From July 7th three pairs — The Lion Model (L1 and L2) and The Tiger Model (T1) — will be auctioned off and donated to the upkeep of the Kamine Zoo in Hitachi City, Japan.
Auction executioners, the Mineko Club, wraps denim around the animals’ favourite play toys and then encourages them, for once, to indulge their natural tendencies and rip the denim to shreds.
The club are also involved in other initiatives at the zoo to get punters through the door.
Proceeds will also go to the World Wildlife Fund.
Love this idea an a great way to help the zoo!
