Published in Acclaim Magazine and featured on Sony Music’s insta feed, this interview/shoot was a contra-experiment that worked well. Even trading the horse owner’s time for a jar of kawa kawa leaves infused in olive oil, this shoot was about young creatives doing what we love to do.

Vayne: Gutta Girl is my Sasha Fierce. On stage that was the building blocks for Vayne.  I feel like in every strong woman there is a little girl inside and for me, fashion and make up is my shell. I’m not completely lying to the world, that’s my shell and that’s what makes me feel [strong]. That’s my armour. 

Serum: Are you a warrior at this stage?

V: That’s in my bloodline.
